Penghu is located at 50km west of Taiwan, composed of 90 big and small islands. With a spectacular oceanic ecology and landscape, profound humanity and long history, it cultivates unique oceanic features.
Ding Dong, a Taiwanese photographer, has won many prizes in international photography contests and is skillful in capturing the rhythmic movements of people and nature. He explores the daily life of Penghu, visiting lanes and alleys. With “daily life” as the theme, he takes photos about “youth”, “touching”, and “taste.” Representing Penghu's humanistic scenes faithfully, he records the moments of fun and good food.
It is hoped that through Ding Dong’ camera lens, Penghu will be introduced to visitors. It is also hoped to allow Taiwanese people to encounter Penghu again from different perspectives. Likewise, they will like Penghu, want to visit Penghu, and love Penghu.
